Located in the center of Baguio, Burnham Park is always an enjoyable place to visit. it’s a popular place fo Baguio residents go to walk, exercise or just relax. It’s also a nice place place for to get together with family and friends for a picnic.
Popular Attraction
Burnham Park is one of the most popular attractions for visitors. Because of it’s central location it’s easy to add it your itinerary. It’s typically better to visit in when the weather is clear, but with an umbrella a stroll around the lake in the rain is certainly possible. Plus there is a covered roller rink with, bumper cars and an indoor children’s amusement area in the center.
Pokémon Hunting
With an abundance of Poké Stops and Poké Gyms it’s a popular place for people to go and to gather to play Pokémon Go.
Early Evening
In the early evening there is the fountain light show in the Rose Garden. Most of the activities are still open. With the boat and bicycle rental operations still running and vendors still selling food and beverages.
Late Evening
In late evening there are usually still plenty of people around enjoy in the park. It’s not uncommon for people to gather to socialize, or to get together and listen to music. Depending on the night, many activities may still be running late into the evening.
On most nights the park doesn’t really quiet down until well after midnight. It’s in the wee hours of the morning, between midnight and sunrise, that’s the most tranquil time in the park. With few people there and little traffic running around the park there is sense of a calm with the silence the has a mysterious feeling to it.
